Artist‘s works are abstract – but this abstractionism allows to penetrate into much more coded meanings. He, as Stalker, leads us into a mysterious world, speaking entity of the earth and the universe. <...>

He is primarily connected to Čiurlionis through a kindred plastic alphabet—the flickering of Secessionist musical ornaments or the lingering mist of Symbolist mystery.

I’m deeply impressed by the range of his artistic vision. Each piece, whether vibrant with saturated colors or more structurally complex with deep blues and reds, is a testament to his talent and maturity as an artist. He clearly knows how to articulate his artistic language through a variety of themes and techniques. One area that I do think is especially unique, and something he should continue to explore, is his use of sand in his paintings.

Rokas' painting is the art of subtle, light, and swift touches. The artist eagerly experiments, blending traditional painting techniques with his own specially formulated paints—made from the sand of Nida’s dunes, rocks, and ashes from Mount Etna (Sicily). As a result, his canvases radiate a mood of new experiences. It is a piercing rhythm of colors, a movement of lines and textures, born from a vivid reaction and direct contact with the environment.
